Malatai Villa is a spectacular, beachfront villa offering the ultimate in refined living. Located just outside of Ocho Rios, completed in '2005, Malatai is a spacious and luxurious 6 bedroom home.

The villa is set behind an electronic gate on the translucent shores of of Old Fort Bay, an exclusive gated community. Nestled in a tropical woodland garden next to the renowned Villa Lido and separated by a small stream, Malatai offers the perfect combination of seclusion, luxury and convenience. The home sits on a 3,300 square foot white sand beach where exceptional swimming may be enjoyed in the translucent waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Just a few minutes drive are two of the area's best known attractions: Dunn's River Falls and Dolphin Cove while downtown Ocho Rios is just a 10-minute drive.

At the end of the road, an electronic gate opens to reveal this spectacular new home (‘2005). Twin Koi ponds grace the dramatic entrance to the villa. Every attention was given to the finishing details of this beautiful villa. The interiors feature tall ceilings, exquisite Jotoba hardwood floors, Italian tile, Jerusalem stone as well as the extensive use of marble and granite.

Malatai consists of the spacious main villa, separate air-conditioned fitness cottage, free-form private swimming pool, hot tub, large lawn and deck just perfect for entertaining by the sea.

A long fence borders the extensive grounds of the villa and is designed to roll open to reveal the gorgeous panoramas of beach and blue sky just steps from the sea. Cleverly constructed, the fence may be opened to afford beach views and may slide shut to provide privacy at night.

The villa is built on two levels and offers spacious accommodations. The main level consists of the living room, inside dining room, kitchen, family room and three of the bedrooms.

The spacious living/dining area is comfortably and tastefully furnished. The living area opens onto an expansive outdoor, covered and furnished verandah. The outdoor verandah becomes a main focal point and provides the perfect spot for relaxing, reading and watching the sunsets.

The back of the home opens to a beautifully landscaped lawn with private swimming pool, outdoor seating and dining areas as well as the sugar white sands of Old Fort Bay Beach.

The air-conditioned family room is equipped with a computer with complementary high-speed Internet access, a 36’ Sony flat screen TV and surround sound (speaks throughout the lower level and the pool area as well), DVD’s, CD’s, Fax machine and board games.

All of the bedrooms have a Sony flat screen TV, telephone with intercom, air-conditioning, safe, bathrobes and fully furnished balconies or terraces with stunning views of the sea.

The three bedrooms on the main level feature two queen sized beds and en-suite baths with tub-shower combination. Each room, also, has a 32 inch TV and all open to private terraces with delightful views of the sea.

A dramatic stairway leads to the upper level. Upstairs, there are two master bedrooms. Each bedroom has a four-poster king sized bed and a 35 inch Sony flat-screen TV. Additionally, both master suites have en-suite bathrooms with double basins, whirlpool bathtubs and separate walk-in showers complete with water jets. Both of these master suites open to a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean.

Additionally, on the upper level, is the children’s room, which consists of three bunk beds (6 twin sized beds total) as well as an en-suite bathroom. This room opens to a balcony as well.

Home cooked meals are served from the state of the art kitchen and served either in the inside dining room or alfresco on the verandah by the river or even on the beach. Guests enjoy savoring tropical drinks and delicious hors d’oeuvres that are served around the outdoor verandah bar.
 
The villa boasts a separate fitness cottage complete with air-conditioned fitness room with treadmill, bench, 3 spinning exercise bunks, free weights) as well as VCR, CD and exercise videos.

Malatai, also, boasts kayaks (4 single seats and 4 double seats) and complementary snorkel gear. On request, the staff can arrange for jet skis, water-skis, sunset cruises etc. to be delivered directly to the beach at the villa.

The staff can, also, arrange spa treatments at the villa and/or yoga instruction as well as special bonfires on the beach for memorable evenings under the stars.

The exceptional exterior spaces of the villa with the lush tropical woodlands, gardens and gorgeous beach provide the perfect setting for this spectacular villa while a professional staff attends to guests every need.

The maximum occupancy at Malatai is 10 adults and 4 children under the age of 12 years.

Please note that Malatai may be rented in conjunction with neighboring Villa Lido to provide over 10 bedrooms, two pools, private tennis court and exceptional staffs.
