Cirrhosis on the Sea is an oceanfront home that is truly one of the area's most elegant villas. Located on the property formerly owned by Elizabeth Taylor, it is located within the prestigious Mammee Bay development on the north shore of Jamaica just outside of charming Ocho Rios.
Traditional Jamaican architecture is featured in this home with high ceilings, open spaces, large windows and plentiful outside living areas. The interiors feature a mixture of wicker, rattan and traditional pieces providing the perfect combination of elegance and casual comfort.
The villa offers four spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite baths. The master suite has a king sized bed, another bedroom offers a queen sized bed and the other two bedrooms each have two twin sized beds.
Unique to this villa is the semi-circular open-air living room that opens onto the oval swimming pool and patio area. A seaside gazebo provides a stunning setting to savor the sunsets and twinkling lights of nearby Ocho Rios.
While there is a small sandy beach area at the villa, it is not possible to swim at the villa due to the rocks. The home, however, is located within walking distance of the lovely Mammee Bay Beach.
It is rumored that the Rolling Stones have rented this gorgeous home.
